South Warren High School will present Once Upon a Mattress this week in the South Warren High School Auditorium. The musical, a humorous retelling of The Princess and the Pea, follows Princess Winnifred as she tries to pass Queen Aggravain’s impossible test and win the hand of Prince Dauntless.
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, March 26; Friday, March 27; and Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m., along with a Sunday, March 29 matinee at 3 p.m. Community members are invited to come out and support South Warren’s talented student performers in this fun-filled production.

Everyone is invited to our annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at Greenwood High School on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 beginning at 5:30 p.m. If you have never attended this event, I encourage you to bring your family and attend. This is an evening of celebration, inspiration, and learning for us all, and features many of our talented students. Join us as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. King. A special thanks to our Dream Builder partner, ELPO Law, for helping WCPS make this event possible.

South Warren High School is proud to announce that we have earned a BLUE Overall Performance Rating on the 2025 Kentucky School Report Card, placing us in the top 10% of all high schools in the state!
This remarkable accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, and excellence of our entire school community. Our students continue to rise to every challenge, our staff pours their heart into supporting learning and growth, and our families and community partners stand beside us every step of the way.
